Such a Haven for me...Many hours are spend in this flower garden..There is nothing any better than sitting and listening to the fountains. Gosh the most depressing place when winter comes..Hope you enjoy this flower as much as I have..

ABOUT SIX MONTHS AGO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH HERE

IN MERIDIAN YOUNG MARRIED COUPLES CLASS TOOK ON A PROJECT HERE AT THE WESLEY HOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER..THE FIRST PROJECT WAS TO BUILD A PLAYGROUND FOR JESUS. WHICH IS COMPLETED. NEXT TO OUR CENTER IS HIGHWAY VILLAGE APARTMENTS WHICH IS A VERY RUFF PLACE AT TIMES. THE PLAYGROUND IS SOMETHING FOR THOSE CHILDREN AND ANY CHILDREN THAT WOULD LIKE TO COME AND USE THE PLAYGROUND. SO FAIR THE GATE HAS BEEN TORN DOWN..NOT BAD AT ALL THE KIDS TRULY APPRECIATE THE PLAYGROUND.

EACH WEEK ONE OF THE GUYS FROM THE CHURCH TAKES A CASE THAT NEEDS TO BE SHARED.THIS IS DONE UNDER JOHN 3:17. HE LETS THE PEOPLE IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON HERE IN OUR COMMUNITY..IT IS JUST AMAZING HOW MANY PEOPLE REACH OUT TO THESE NEEDS.

We will be sponsoring 8 children to experience Gaits to Greatness. The children will be selected through the Wesley House Victim Service Agency. We will be enrolling 8 children who have been sexually abused. (For an example of one of the children who will be enrolled – This child has been sexually abused by a family member. The child has shut down emotionally with little interaction with others. There is zero trust in this child’s life. The child is having trouble eating, and having simple conversations. The child will not disclose who the family member was, or much about the abuse.) The children will go through a four week session where they will be spending four hours each week experiencing play therapy with a horse. Children who are sexually abused have their sense of power and control taken away from them.

It's Been A Lucy Kind of Day!!!!

What a Wednesday...Dressed for work this morning with one black shoe and one navy shoe..OK!!!!!! Computer would not start up this morning at work..Great reason the computer was unpluged from power box..While trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer..I thought something is going on here, one of the lenses in my glasses had fallen out..You know those nice reading glasses. Those we have so many pairs of..We can't find not a pair when we need them.. OK, Spilled a full glass of coke with that store bought ice in my purse..Went to clean the spill up and knocked picture frame off. One thing followed the other..
I feel like Lucy just one mess after the other..Oh yes how can I forget went to put lipstick on and the lipstick broke off...Maybe my night will only get BETTER!!!!!!!

Welcome back toooooo Blogging!!!!

I can truly say I have missed blogging....When I left for a few months
I had lost my job...God had the perfect place for me...On February 16th I
was blessed with a new job...I am working with the best group of people.
We have six agencies under one large building..We have a Pre-school ages
3-5..Child Advocate Center, clothing room, food pantry and we offer GED's,Anger
Management, Parenting Classes. We also help with paying utilities. The best part
of our Center we have a FREE CLINIC can you believe how blessed I am to be a part
Of such a ministry...All our clients has to do is come in and feel out application with us..
IF THE NEED IS THERE THEN WE BOTH RECEIVE A BLESSING...They needed to be served
and we were able to serve them.......I hope in the coming weeks I will find you..

In June my we all went to Destin..I just can't tell you what a wonderful time we all had..

My Grands were just the best kids of all...(I know all grands say that)..My son's and daughter-in-laws just wonderful to me..We stayed together the whole week...One day they closed the beach..Workers worked through the night had the beach back open the next morning..They seem to have that part of the oil spill worked out....
