About Me

My photo
Deep South, United States
First I am a mother of two sons, Chad 35 and Ryan 32. Through these beautiful sons, I have been blessed with two beautiful daughter-in-laws, Kelli and Erin. As a result of these beautiful wives comes three beautiful grands, Connor first and the only one for fives years. Then, Kelli and Chad blessed me with another beautiful grandson, Cooper, who is now three. Ryan and Erin blessed me with my first granddaughter, Presley, and now Presley has brother, Harper, who is 2. My blog is really all about family. The reason I chose Magnolia Memories as my blog title is I am from Mississippi! I love Magnolia's. Memories is something that I make everyday. I still have my mother who will be 89 on her birthday in April. My life is centered around my beautiful family. Life is GOOD!

A Prayer For Your Young Child

This is a beautiful prayer that I
pray everyday for my two beautiful
Grandson's Connor is the oldest he
started kindergarten this year. I
carry him to school every morning
I pray this prayer every morning when
he gets out of the car. Cooper is fifteen
months and his mother carries him every
morning and I pray this same prayer for
Cooper. They are both what keeps me going.
I love every morning to see what Connors
has to say on the way to school. Oh how I
treasure the ride to school. I hope you
enjoy this poem as well.

Dear God I pray he's treated right
and protected from all that gives him fright.
Protect his heart from kids who make fun
because he's too fat or too dumb.
If he's too skinny or too smart,
please still God protect his heart.
He's so happy and free with joy,
I'd hate to see that be destroyed.
Help him learn from his mistakes,
and never give him more then he can take.
Give him all the love he needs
and bless him with the joy that makes him free.
Save him from the pain life brings,
and make his little heart sing.
Please God don't let the world take it away
It’s to precious to let decay.
So God I beg you please,
Protect him from what he sees
Let him see life in a different light,
Let him see darkness as a starry night.
So God please make his heart very strong,
and spread to the world his happy song.

They are two handsome little boys. I stand in agreement with your prayer. I have two precious baby Granddaughters whom we pray for daily.

There is great covering in our prayers for our children of all ages and our grandchildren.

Bless you dear sister and have a wonderful weekend.
