I've Been Tagged

Kelli at Sassy Southern Mom
has tagged me this is the first tag that I have ever had.
Thanks Kelli
6 Things I Value

1. My Beautiful Family that I just don't know what
I would do without them. My two beautiful grandsons
that makes my life so complete.
2. For having a job at this time even though advertising
is very hard to sell at this point. But it is a great job.
3. For being a healthy person, being able to get up every
morning and go to work. Believe me I do have severe
aches and pains. Just not enough to miss work over.
4. Wonderful friends that always knows the right
thingto say when you need that little extra boost.
Always being willing to listen. Believe me sometimes
they get a hear full.
5. Learning how to take care of myself after being
married 33 years. I was very afaid of what was
ahead of me. But God has seen away for me to get
through each and every obstacle that comes my way.
6. Last but not least the person that I have turned into.
I really like myself at this stage in my life. I haven't
always been able to say that!!
6 Things That I Don't Value
1. People that mistreat children. I just can't underrstand
how so many innocent children get hurt and the laws
that make excuses for the parents, foster parents. I don't
think they find out enough of information on some
children before they are placed.
2. For all these CEO Executives that have lived the
big lives while spending someone elses money. How can
they live with theirselves. People losing jobs as results
of their standards. No Mercy on them from me..
3. Television for all these murders that are never solved.
Why? Mothers, wifes, girlfriends having to go through
all this domestic violence. Cases never solved.
4. For people abusing the government and getting away
with it. Not having to get up like us working people and
go to work just drawing checks The government doesn't
seem to mind. Why should I.
5. People that take advantage of the elder in these
nursing homes. Their afraid to tell the family afraid
of how they will be treated. It just upsets me so bad
how you can mistreat the elder.
6. United States giving money to all these other
countries while our people are homeless, starving,
living in cars with family and pets not knowing where
they will end up..
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have to tag 6 other blogs so
here goes.

DOES IT TAKE ALL YOUR TIME TO MAKE BOTH ENDS MEET???

I am very much addicted to CHOCOLATE!! THIS ARTICLE REALLY
HAS MADE ME REALIZE THAT THERE IS A THING CALLED CHOCOLATE ADDICTION. FIRST THING IN THENING LAST

OES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE THE CHOCDITION?? DON'T ENJOY HEALTHY EATING. FIRST OF ALL
I LIVE BY MYSELF AND IT IS J EASIER TO CRAB AY BAR
(HERSHEAM VERY SELECTIVE The subject of chocolate addiction is a topic that raises a smile to most people’s lips and is often thought of as a harmless bit of fun that is really to be enjoyed. For confessed chocoholics however, this can be an expensive and dangerous addiction due to the affects excessive chocolate consumption can have on their health.
How Is Chocolate Addictive?
People can become addicted to chocolate in a number of ways. For some it may start as a love of the taste and texture of certain brands, for others it may be the sweetness and sugar rush it provides. There are legitimate grounds as to why and how people become addicted to chocolate.
It is now commonly believed that eating chocolate can cause an increase in the production of endorphins. These are chemicals that make us feel happy and are found naturally in our bodies, therefore if we eat chocolate we have an increase in these ‘feel good’ chemicals.
Some experts also believe that due to the chemicals contained in chocolate and their effects on the brain a cycle of ‘the more you have, the more you want to have’ begins, thus developing a physical dependency.
BEATING YOUR CHOCOLATE ADDITIONS

Simple measures such as not buying any chocolate for other members of the household will help to take temptation out of the way, as will avoiding unnecessary trips to the local shop, petrol station or other chocolate retailers.
Avoid the confectionary aisles at the supermarket, or ask someone else to do the shopping for you whilst you are coping with the initial period of withdrawal.
Find more time for sex and exercise as these both increase endorphin production, and will help burn off the calories and body fat gained from eating too much chocolate.
Visit the dentist and treat yourself to a good whitening or polish, this will help deter you putting them at risk from the dangers of sweet confectionary.
Find alternatives and natural sweet produce, such as fruit, and eat this when a craving is beginning.
To overcome your addiction to chocolate, it is most likely that a combination of these techniques is used.
Being a chocoholic is not the end of the world, but overcoming the addiction will increase your confidence, improve your overall health and will probably carry a financial reward also.

Pink Saturday With Lots of Frosting

Beverly at Home Sweet Home is the host
for Pink Saturday
This MaggiB make-up bag was a birthday gift from
my son, wonderful daughter-in-law and Connor
several years ago. It is something that I treasure
because of what it says on the bag. Kelli has been
so wonderful to me to share her children with me.
Anytime, I ask to keep either one of the boys or both
boys she has always been so sweet to allow me to.
Some daughter-in-laws don't like to share their children
with mother-in-laws as much as they share them their
mom. But Kelli has always. So, I had to share my bag.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Pink
Saturday. Thanks for stopping by to see
what I was sharing.
Oh in case your wondering about Vikki
being at the top of my blog. I was trying
to add my signature to my blog. I think
I got it in the wrong place and I didn't know
how to get it to the bottom. What you think?
I'll try it again next post no telling where it
might end up. Ha Ha

Trash To Treasure Great Finds To Share

Diane at A Picture is Worth a 1000 Words is hosting
Trash To TreasureTuesday at http://diane1876.blogspot.com/
I have had this lamp for some time.
I purchased it from the Salvation Army Thrift Store
without the shade for $2.00. The shade I found at my
favorite Boutique Dirt Cheap for $3.00. It really matches
the lamp. It looks like it was made to go on it.
Also, I bought this chair at Victory Outreach
for $4.00. It appears to be a very old chair.
The cushion is from no other than Dirt Cheap $2.00.
$11 dollars for all of it. Thanks for stopping by.
